A story of craftsmanship,
of passion & solidarity

It all began over 10 years ago, during a pivotal encounter with a Frenchman involved in managing a community workshop located in the heart of a Berber village in Morocco. He recounts his love for this unique place where the embroidery workshop is much more than a workspace: it's a place of life, socialization, and empowerment for the village women.
Emilie has always been passionate about fabrics and sewing. At a very young age, she learned to embroider from her grandmother, bringing fruits and animals to life on rags. Later, this passion never left her: she chose her first career in the textile sector, an obvious choice for her; then as a home textile buyer at Le Bon Marché, she explored the world of decoration between household linen and designer accessories. These experiences nourished her vision and her love for beauty, fabrics, and colors.

The encounter with this embroidery workshop is an absolute favorite! For the beauty of the gesture and the transmission of this art of embroidery, for this refined and timeless linen, for these artisan women in this place of work and joy!
The beautiful in
service of good

Giving meaning to craftsmanship
Always driven by the desire to help others, Emilie is seduced by the human side of the project: support for women and the village as a whole whole by the sale of the products of this local association, around the embroidery workshop. She is touched by the joy of these women and by pride in their ancestral know-how.
Her suitcases loaded with laundry, Emilie begins by presenting it around of her. The reception is very enthusiastic: the customers are won over by the refinement, quality and voluptuousness of this hand-embroidered interior linen. She then feels that this is the beginning of an incredible story.

The birth of the Embroiderers
Then the pandemic arrived, marking a decisive turning point. For Emilie, It's time to create a brand and an e-shop, and this is how it was born The Embroiderers, like a 6th child...Her idea is clear: to make to know these unique, durable and living pieces, while reinventing through modern, customizable collections and adapted to our interiors.
Today, Les Brodeuses is part of a responsible approach focused
on the quality and the valorization of the embroidery or weaving made
hand. Emilie surrounds herself with new workshops to enrich her
collections: new patterns and weaves, new accessories around
from the worlds of the bedroom and the table.
The spirit of the collections
is chic and timeless, full of colors and mixes of styles,
giving free rein to the creativity of its founder.
Joy and
the love of beautiful linen is at the heart of the collections!

"Les Brodeuses is a project that immediately brought me joy both by its meaning and by the beauty of this exceptional embroidered linen...I have felt like it was the beginning of an incredible adventure "
